(NASDAQ: SMLR), an emerging medical risk-assessment company whose mission is to develop, manufacture and market patented products that identify the risk profile of medical patients to allow healthcare providers to capture full reimbursement potential for their services, today announced the closing of its previously announced initial public offering of 1,430,000 shares of its common stock offered at a price to the public of $7.00 per share. The gross proceeds to Semler from the initial public offering were $10,010,000, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses. Semler has granted the representative of the
underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to 214,500 additional shares of common stock from Semler to cover over-allotments, if any.
Aegis Capital Corp. acted as sole book-running manager for the offering.
